Leslie,
What a wonderful dialogue to surface for discussion. I was recently facilitating a retreat of renewal for one of my clients and as employees connected with each other and had conversations about what mattered to them, I wondered what possibilities existed as they took the risks to share their hearts with each other....perhaps ultimately, it will be love that unfolds and wouldn't that be amazing! Thanks for sharing your thinking and prompting my own reflection on love and where I see it in organizations I work with.

This article is striking - love really does seem to be at the core of many pressing organizational issues. Like you say Leslie, if we can call it what it is, practical improvements could take place. There seems to be a wonderful and grand simplicity to this! Thank you for shedding light on this in your elegant and inspired way!

This is really well said, Leslie! I feel you have made the case for paying attention to love in one's organization very well. I certainly couldn't have written it better.

Brilliant Leslie! And the beauty of what you are proposing is - it's simple (but not easy)! Meaning - it's simple to do but not easy to change culture. After all, how many of the Boomer generation (particularly men) are comfortable saying "I love you" to their fathers, sons, wives (often enough). So to me to is totally circular. There is no wall betweek "work and life" - it's all one. And if I shy away from celebrating love 100% in my personal life, I sure as hell won't be showing up with love at work.

Thank you for your work in this critical area!

Leslie,

Right on! I recently worte and published my first book titled "<strong>Loyalty is Love: How to Hold Clients Close for Life</strong>." I was advised by many businesses professionals that no executive would read a book with this title, and in fact, felt the 'touchy' 'feely' stuff was better reserved for a support group. I didn't listen but did insert an introductory page titled "<em>Caution - Four Letter Word Ahead</em>." The book has been very successful and the message of Love well received.

You're right. If we can't Love our work places and our teammates, we can't possibly shower Love on our customers. It starts where you live - and for many of us, the dividing line between our actual homes and work places is hard to define.

Blessings. Keep sending the great reminders.
